Bench is North America’s largest online bookkeeping service. Since it was founded, Bench has raised $33 million in funding and was ranked fourth in this year’s Deloitte Fast 50.

It can be intimidating for a business to entrust something as important as their bookkeeping to someone else. Bench has worked hard to build trust and put entrepreneurs at ease by showcasing their professionalism, approachability and expertise through a consistent brand voice.

I’ve written copy across several brand touch points, including email nurture campaigns, landing pages, partnership pages, and app release notes. This required a deep understanding of the brand voice, keywords, and audience needs. My copy addresses the pain points of Bench’s clients, and I have become adept at talking about bookkeeping (something Bench’s clients prefer not to do) in an engaging and delightful way.
